Honey BBQ Nuggs:
The Chicken Nuggets are made from chicken breast with rib meat, water, sodium phosphates, and salt. They are battered and breaded with a mixture of wheat flour, bleached wheat flour, salt, modified corn starch, spices, leavening agents like sodium bicarbonate, and yellow corn flour. Additional ingredients include garlic powder, citric acid, yeast, spice extractives, and xanthan gum. The nuggets are then breaded and set in soybean or vegetable oil before being cooked in a combination of vegetable oils such as soybean, canola, corn, and/or cottonseed, along with hydrogenated soybean oil and dimethylpolysiloxane to reduce foaming.
The Honey BBQ Sauce included is a blend of sugar, water, honey, distilled vinegar, and tomato paste, with added corn syrup, pineapple juice concentrate, and fruit and vegetable juice concentrate for color. It also contains a mix of molasses, tamarind extract, natural smoke flavor, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate as preservatives, and dehydrated onion, garlic, and spice. The sauce is flavored with calcium disodium EDTA to protect its flavor. The product contains wheat and is cooked in the same oil as items containing egg, fish, milk, sesame, soy, and wheat.
